The aim is research, development, application and distribution of non-destructive test methods. ibg is corporate member of the DGZfP and involved in the surface crack detection technical committee.

Our development partner Maurer Magnetic in Switzerland is dedicated expert for all questions regarding demagnetisation of components – indispensable for achieving high-sensitive crack and grinder burn test by eddy current. Our test systems are regularly and successfully equipped with the patented Maurer Degaussing Technology for an advanced pulsed demagnetisation method.
X-ray laboratory Eigenmann, Schnaittach/Germany
Our development partner Dr. Bernd Eigenmann and his X-ray laboratory is a valued expert for X-ray diffraction analyses for residual stress with high location resolution. He is capable of assessing the residual stress states and patterns also of large components non-destructively using his X-ray diffractometers.
imq Ingenieurbetrieb GmbH, Crimmitschau/Germany
Our development partner imq is an acknowledged service provider for material testing with emphasis on destructive and non-destructive material tests of metal parts and is an accredited test laboratory at the DAkkS as per DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Their specialties are laser treatment of metallic components as well as surface analytics with REM and correlative microscopy.
